The Role

We are looking for a Bookkeeper & Administration Assistant to be the cornerstone of our internal operations.

This is a hybrid role: primarily focused on accounting and finance, but also supporting general administration, HR, and corporate governance tasks as the business grows.

What You Will Do 📝

  • Record and maintain financial transactions: Accurately enter invoices, bills, credit notes, and expenses into Zoho Books.
  • Bank reconciliation: Regularly reconcile all bank accounts.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage payments, collections, and customer follow-ups.
  • Financial reporting: P&L, Cashflow Statements & Balance Sheet reports from Zoho, but you also will be required to put together & maintain the business’ cashflow projections within Excel.
  • HR & Payroll administration: Calculate and process monthly salaries, overtime, bonuses, and manage employee leave tracking.
  • Tax Returns: Prepare and submit VAT & Corporate Tax filings on time.
  • Legal & Corporate Governance: Manage trade license renewals, NOCs, and basic contract drafting/reviewing.
  • General administration: Assist in ad-hoc office and business support tasks as required to ensure operations run smoothly.

What You Need ✅

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration).
  • Excellent English skills (written and spoken).
  • Sharp attention to detail and a no-room-for-sloppiness mindset.
  • Strong stress management skills and ability to take swift action.
  • Outstanding Excel proficiency — VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and complex formulas are second nature.

Bonus if you have:

  • Audit experience.
  • Prior experience working for a UAE business.
